Miss Josephine Samai attends the Annie Walsh Memorial School (AWMS) and is a competitor in Track & Field events. She received the Jestina V. Jones Athletics Scholarship in 2016/17 as a JSS2 student. Miss Samai has demonstrated exceptional abilities in theoretical physical education classes and has an interest in Long Jump and Sprinting events. However, she has not been able to compete for the AWMS as yet since sports events have been suspended since the Ebola crisis in 2014. In the meantime, she has begun weekly training with a Sports Coach, identified by the JVJ Athletics Scholarship Board. Miss Samai is a member of Pole House. She passed the WASSCE in 2018 and is now in SSS at the Annie Walsh memorial School.
