On March 18, 2024, what would have been the 82nd birthday of the late Jestina V. Jones, representatives from the Board of the Jestina V. Jones Memorial Fund donated a cheque for Le25 million to the Well Woman Clinic in Freetown, Sierra Leone. This donation will offer women of low incomes access to breast screening services and some educational information at no cost. Present at the event were Chair of the Board, Dr. Dinsie Williams; husband of the Late Jestina Jones, Dr. Teddy Jones; Director of the Well Woman Clinic, Mrs. Jennifer Renner-Thomas and her brother Louis Bankole-Jones; sister of the Late Jestina Jones, Mrs Gloria Dillsworth; and staff nurses at the Well Woman Clinic.
