Chairman, Dr. Ibi May-Parker

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Ibi May-Parker, first Chairman of the Board of Directors of the J.V. Jones Memorial Fund. He had recently resigned as Chairman on September 10, 2020 due to failing health. He died on October 16, 2020 at the age of 86. Among many others charitable organizations, Dr. Ibi May-Parker was a stalwart champion for this fund and we are, in particular, grateful for his guidance in developing the constitution for this fund. We send our heartfelt sympathy to the May-Parker family in the United Kingdom and in Sierra Leone, as well as to those who had the pleasure to know him and work with him.
