On March 16, 2020, representatives from the Board of the Jestina V. Jones Memorial Fund donated a checque for Le8 million to the Well Woman Clinic in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The presentation was covered by the press, including the AWOKO newspaper and SL Television. Present at the event were Chair of the Board, Dr. Ibi May-Parker; husband of the Late JV Jones, Dr. Teddy Jones; brother of Teddy Jones, Dr. Ulric Jones; Director of the Well Woman Clinic, Mrs. Jennifer Renner-Thomas; Head Sister Adijatu Uviegbisie, Sister Glena Kargbo; and Reproductive Health Consultant, Ms Tina Davies.
